Bom, depois de quase 5 meses desaparecida, retorno ao blog. Os  motivos de meu desaparecimento são:

Mas, here we go again. Tenho vários posts em mente. Quero falar de coisas que eu gosto, contar coisas do meu dia-a-dia, entre outras coisas. Pretendo trocar o layout o mais rápido possível. Estou cansada desse layout cinzento.

Hello, everyone! Mais uma categoria nova que eu resolvi criar: Resenhas de Mangá. Aqui vou resenhar mangás que não são publicados no Brasil, mas que você pode ler via scanlations e/ou comprar importado.

Para a inauguração da categoria vou falar de um mangá que foi lançado recentemente nos EUA.

No início da semana estava visitando o site Emily’s Random Shoujo Manga Page e tinha um artigo novo chamado The Great Shoujo Manga Gift Guide 2009 (O Grande Guia de Presentes de Mangá Shoujo 2009). Dentre os mangás vi um que me chamou a atenção pelo nome da mangaká: Yuki Yoshihara. A Yoshihara-san é famosa pelos romances apimentados sempre protagonizados por mulheres adultas e responsáveis (pelo menos no início). Ou seja, se você é menor de 18 anos, você não deve ler os mangás da Yoshihara-san! Mas o grande diferencial das obras dela é o humor! Além dela desenhar muito bem, suas histórias misturam humor e romance. Mas vamos à resenha. Ah! Contém spoilers!

Butterflies, Flowers (Chou yo Hana yo) de Yuki Yoshihara
Nota:

Chouko Kuze é uma moça de 20 anos, cuja família é de uma linhagem nobre. Eles administravam uma empresa de imóveis que foi à falência nas mãos de seu pai. Ele teve até que vender sua mansão para pagar o que devia a seus empregados. Chouko era muito apegada ao filho de um dos empregados que sempre cuidava dela e teve que ir embora depois de falência da família Kuze.

Vários anos se passaram e Chouko começa a trabalhar em uma empresa que administra imóveis, assim como aquela que sua família possuía. Seu chefe, Doumoto-san é um homem muito severo e que exige muito dela. Após um incidente dentro da empresa, Chouko descobre que Doumoto-san, na verdade é Masayuki Doumoto, ou melhor, Chaa-chan, o filho do empregado que cuidava dela.

A partir daí, Doumoto-san assume, num primeiro momento, uma dupla personalidade. No trabalho ele é o chefe, Domouto-san, que a chama sempre de Kuze-san. Fora dalí ele é o Masayuki, seu fiel servo, que a chama de “minha dama”.

Após vários encontros e desencontros, como esperado, Masayuki e Chouko se apaixonam e decidem ficar juntos. Deste momento em diante o relacionamento se complica, pois além de ser chefe e servo, agora ele também é namorado de Chouko. Isso faz com que essas três personalidades, muitas vezes se confudam, causando muitas confusões para Chouko.

Estou amando este mangá! Consegui as scanlations até o volume 6, capítulo 28. Não há mais scanlations depois disso, o que me faz ter que esperar até que os volumes 6, 7 e 8 sejam lançados nos EUA para que eu saiba o final (ou que algum grupo brasileiro se interesse pelo mangá).

• Um dos pontos que eu gostei nesse mangá é que, geralmente a protagonista é sempre a mais maluca nos mangás da Yoshihara-san, mas desta vez o Masayuki é completamente nonsense! Ele faz cada coisa por causa da Chouko!
• Outro aspecto característico das obras da mangaká é que o casal principal chega aos “finalmentes” no máximo até o segundo volume. Desta vez demora um pouco mais para isso acontecer.
• Ah, sim! O Masayuki é um otaku! Por isso existem várias referências a outros mangás/animes. Até agora vi referências a Rosa de Versalhes, Doraemon, Gundam e Saikano.
• Há também uma referência a um dos outros mangás da Yoshihara-san, chamdo “Darling wa Namamono no Tsuki”, onde aparece o bar do pai da protagonista daquele mangá e uma de suas personagens mais marcantas, a Marilyn.

Bom é isso aí! Ah, sou meio suspeita então não houve nada, que eu me lembre, que eu não tenha gostado até aqui. Se eu lembrar de algo, edito o post e coloco.

Acho que o melhor é o fato deste mangá ser o primeiro da Yuki Yoshihara a ser publicado nos EUA. Quem sabe não é o primeiro passo para termos um mangá dela por aqui?
